The soul purpose of got-art?, the affordable art show is to acquaint the best emerging artists with new art buyers.

"At the gallery, my favorite shows were the annual emerging artists group shows. Not only were the artists grateful for the opportunity, but our collectors found the experience most interesting, and the financial risk was a minimum for the unique new talent.

In 2001, my husband and I moved to Sherborn to start our family. Our home had an unused barn on the property, and I thought it would be a great place to show work from emerging artists of the area. And here it began, selling unique works of art from emerging artists out of our barn one weekend a month. After the first fall season, folks were coming to our door to buy art at all times of day. They loved the comfortable, pressure free, quaint New England buying experience….and most definately the emerging artist/ non gallery prices.

My continued philosophy is to find the best artists in every medium, style and size and present their work twice a year in the same friendly environment. However, after all these years we no longer host the shows from our barn, but in larger venues. Since each show is only three days long, I am able to negotiate affordable original artwork often at or under studio prices. The paintings usually range in price, from the smallest works starting under $100 and going up to $5,000 for wall-sized paintings. Most of the works are framed, and ready to hang. This art experience is an amazement to the seasoned collector, and a dream for the novice buyer.

Every home should possess real original art. Art should provoke an emotion and move you. It should not match your couch, but match your personality, as art is forever…just like your family and friends. The arts should be a part of your life.

Please attend my next show, and lets get you started!"
